Off to round 2 in Reetz – will the next thriller in the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany follow on Saturday?

Just two weeks after the exciting season opener in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz, the next showdown in the AUNER HardEnduroSeries Germany is already scheduled for this coming Saturday (April 12). In Reetz, the HESG community awaits the second race of the season – and all signs point to it being another thrilling event.

After the gripping opener, the cards should be reshuffled once again in Reetz. In the past, the deep sand around the sand pit of MSC Burg Eisenhardt has repeatedly led to surprises. In addition, the race in Reetz is almost a home game for the northern German leading trio, as it, along with the finale in Rüdersdorf, forms the northernmost stop of the 2025 series.

MSC Burg Eisenhardt has once again put a lot of work into the track since the Dowatek Enduro Winter Cup in February. So this time, riders can expect some new sections. Especially the climbs out of the sand pit have been made even more challenging compared to last year. On top of that: the dry sandy soil offers significantly less grip in dusty conditions than in wet ones – so once again, the weather could play a decisive role.

Who will come out on top?

All the top riders who already delivered a strong performance at the season opener in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz will be back in Reetz. However, identifying a clear favorite is nearly impossible given the competitive field this year.

Currently, Milan Schmüser leads the overall standings with a five-point lead over Henry Strauss – a snapshot that could quickly be shaken up again in Reetz. Behind Strauss, Leon Hentschel and Marc Wulf are also in contention for the title, both of whom have already proven in the past that they can perform on any terrain. But Pascal Sadecki should not be underestimated in Reetz either – especially in the prologue, where he might be able to turn his experience from the German Enduro Championship into fast times.

The Program in Reetz

The event kicks off on Saturday at 8:45 AM with the ACE Bikes Prolog Award, followed by the first kids’ race and the group races. Unlike the opener in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz, Reetz returns to the familiar format with two group races before the second Luminus Energie HESG Kids Race at 4:00 PM, leading into the big finale.

Already on Friday afternoon and evening, all spectators from the region are warmly invited to the track. The relaxed Friday offers an ideal opportunity to check out the course and chat with riders or the event organizers.
