Already 24 days have passed in the year 2024, time is relentlessly moving forward, and thus, the season opener of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany is approaching. There are still 80 days left until the season starts on April 13th in Reetz, but these days will pass quickly.
Therefore, it is definitely worthwhile to register for the season at www.hardenduro-germany.de/registration-2024 in a timely manner. Registrations for the new season continue to pour in at the HESG organization. Currently, over 170 riders have signed up and are eager to participate in the races. This positions the series well, and an exciting season awaits us.
Many top riders from previous years have already registered, some of whom will compete with new teams. Everything remains the same for the defending champion Marc Wulf, who stays loyal to KTM and his team Extreme Enduro Shop / Motorrad Welink.
Lenny Geretzky, who was forced to withdraw due to injury just before the 2023 finals while leading the standings but still finished as the runner-up, has also already registered. The situation is different, however, for pursuer Felix Bähker. The reigning junior champion is now competing in the Pro class and has switched to the KTM of Finkmoto Holzgerlingen. Finkmoto is also a new premium sponsor of the series.
Leon Hentschel is also on the registration list starting today. The winner of the final race in 2023 in Rüdersdorf will now race for BETA and has simultaneously founded his own team, the Hentschel Factory Racing Team, which aims to support and promote riders.
Thus, 8 out of the top 10 riders from the 2023 season have already confirmed their participation in the 2024 season.
Comprehensive training opportunities before the season - training event and Rideday in February and March.
As it is not quite easy to prepare for the season, the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany offers a tip and a dedicated Rideday for the pilots. On 24.02., the MSC Burg Eisenhardt e.V. is organizing a 2-hour training race. The Reetzer Winterenduro was already highly popular last year. In 2024, there is now the opportunity to experience this on the track that also hosts the HESG season opener. On 16.03., the HESG, in collaboration with MC Isolator, is hosting a Rideday in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz. MC Isolator provides the extreme sections of the legendary racing events for this purpose. Registrations can be made on the series website starting from the end of February.
Change of date in Gefrees.
Due to regulatory requirements, the date for the race in Gefrees is once again being changed. The originally planned date of 29.06. cannot be realized. A new date, likely in early August, will be announced shortly.
Only a few days left to apply for the ACE Bikes HESG Talent Pool.
Until January 31st, all young pilots still have the opportunity to apply for the ACE Bikes HESG Talent Pool. The originally planned 4 young talents have now become 5, who can look forward to comprehensive support.
