The anticipation is slowly building for the penultimate race of the season in Meltewitz. The event, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary on 22.09., will once again be held on a long course with checkpoints, as usual. There was a brief plan to switch to the normal HESG mode, but they decided to stick with the tried-and-tested concept.
The maximum distance will again be 180 minutes, and like last year, there will be a lap requirement. The rider who completes this requirement the fastest will be the winner. There will again be checkpoints in the lap, which will allow for a scoring opportunity during the lap. Unlike in Gefrees, however, there will be no prolines this time; every rider will have to complete the same lap.
As usual in Meltewitz, there will be many rocky sections as well as obstacles and fast stretches.

However, the Luminus Energie HESG Kids will not be participating; they will only return for the final in Schwepnitz on 05.10.
