Finally, it continues! The DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany is going on a tour of Bavaria.
Nine long weeks of break are behind the participants of the series. Now, finally, it continues with two guest performances in Bavaria. The race in Reisersberg on Saturday, July 15, will kick off, followed by Gefrees in early August (August 5).
During the long break, many riders took part in other national or international races. The majority of them competed in the legendary Erzbergrodeo and left a quite positive impression there.
However, Milan Schmüser will likely not remember his participation in the Erzbergrodeo fondly. A crash during the prologue ended his appearance there and also interrupted his season in the HESG. As the current second-place holder in the standings, he had won the last two races in Crimmitschau and Reetz and was closing in on the table leader, Marc Wulf, threateningly. This endeavor has now been abruptly halted, allowing other riders to take the spotlight once again.
The two-time champion is coming back.
One of them is Leon Hentschel, the champion of the 2019 and 2021 seasons. After a long injury hiatus, he is now returning to the series. Whether he can immediately resume his previous performance will be seen this weekend.
Furthermore, there are many Austrian guest riders in Reisersberg who could potentially cause some surprises. Additionally, all eyes are on Jordan Scott, who is competing for the Saxony-based team Wieczorek GP on a Moto-TM.
Prediction for the winner? Hard to determine.
There will also be no clear favorite in Reisersberg. Like in the previous three races, there are at least six riders who can compete for the win. Besides the current leader, Marc Wulf, who incidentally had a mechanical issue in Reisersberg last year, Lenny Geretzky, Felix Bähker, Fynn Hannemann, as well as the aforementioned Hentschel and Scott, are among the top contenders for a daily victory.
The race day starts on Saturday at 8:30 am with the Prolog Award. Further information is available at this link: https://www.hardenduro-germany.de/15-07-23-reisersberg, as well as in the fan guide and the 60-second preview video, which will be released tomorrow.
